This Privacy Policy applies to Trit's app that helps you to analyze and log your meals, receive personalized insights about your nutrition habits, and get expert-designed nutrition coaching tailored to your goals (the "App" or the "Service"). By accepting this Privacy Policy, you are giving us your informed consent to collect and process your personal data, and use it as explained in this Privacy Policy.

The following key points are for your reading convenience and do not substitute the full Privacy Policy below.
You must be a registered user to use the Service. Registration is done through your Apple or Google account, from which we receive your email address and display name.
We also ask you to provide information such as your full name, date of birth, gender, height, weight, activity level and weight-goal.
We refer to this as "Registration Information".
We collect and process information you provide such as meals you logged into the App. We then associate that information with nutritional information (e.g., calories, ingredients), and scores or wellness metrics generated by the App. We do this to help personalize your experience, provide relevant insights, and support your nutrition goals.
We refer to this as "Your Content".
Your payments are processed through the third party payment processor we use ("Payment Processor"). Once the transaction is concluded, we receive the following information from the Payment Provider: transaction status, subscription plan, and subscription period. We do not receive or store your credit card information and do not keep it in our records.
We refer to this as "Purchase Information".
You can send us an inquiry, feedback, or review through social media channels, by sending us an e-mail, leaving reviews in the App Store or Google Play, or any other form of communication. We will process the data you choose to provide, which may include your name, details, email address and the content of your inquiry, feedback or review.
We refer to this as "Feedback Information".
When you use the Service, we record and collect meta-data such as time and date of access, language used, buttons and features clicked, and interactions with the Service.
We refer to this entire data as "Analytics Information".
We store and use your Registration Information, Your Content and Analytics Information in order to provide you the functionality of the Service
We process your Registration Information in order to support your use of the Service and to send you informational texts, and alerts.
Subject to your express written consent, we will process your Registration Information, to send you messages that contain sales or marketing promotions (via email and the Service). You may opt-out of receiving promotional messages at any time.
We process your Purchase Information to administer your subscription to the Service, approve your access to the Service, and manage the renewal of your subscription.
We process the Analytics Information, Your Content, and Feedback Information to assess the Service performance, maintain and improve the Service, for quality assurance and for development and enhancement of the Service.
We will also use the Analytics Information, Your Content and Feedback Information to prevent fraud and abuse, resolve disputes, reply to you, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, and enforce our terms of Service.
We will retain your information for the duration needed to provide you with the Service, conduct our research and support our ordinary business activities operating the Service. Thereafter, we will still retain it as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, establish and defend legal claims and enforce our agreements.
We implement measures designed to protect the information we collect from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. These measures do not provide absolute information security. Therefore, although efforts are made to secure personal information, it is not guaranteed, and you cannot expect that the Service will be immune from information security risks.

We reserve the right to ask for reasonable evidence to verify your identity before we provide you with information. Where we are not able to provide you with information that you have asked for, we will explain the reason for this.
The Service is not directed to users under 18
The Service is not directed to users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information or data from children under the age of 18 or knowingly allow children under the age of 18 to use the Service.
If we change this Privacy Policy, we will make efforts to proactively notify you of such changes.
From time to time, we may change this Privacy Policy. If we do so, we will make efforts to proactively notify you of such changes. In any event, the latest version of the Privacy Policy will always be accessible through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after being notified of the changes, indicates your consent to the new policy.
